Happy Thanksgiving
Hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving. Here is a joke to pass along.... A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to"clean up" the bird's vocabulary. Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute. Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto John's outstretched arms and
Popcorn forms and prize selections are due!
These are the last few days to make sure we step in and have our best selling year ever! There are a lot of exiciting prizes awarded to the boys on a district level, as well as the return of "Cream the Cubmaster" and gift certificates to the highest sellers on the pack level. Most importantly, we as a pack family reap the benefit of great sales. All forms are due to me by Friday the 28th (the day after Thanksgiving) . Prize selections must be listed on the forms at that time. Due to the sale extension we won't get a second chance to order prizes, so please make sure your scout picks what he wants. In this, my third and final year as the popcorn "kernel", I'd like to request that every family get involved, I'm dying for that Blue Bell Ice Cream party!
